91st ANNUAL NOVENA TO ST. ANN

 A TIME OF PRAYER AND ADORATION TO THE MOTHER OF MARY

A very special welcome to Redemptorist Father Paul Bryan from the Eastern Province (Baltimore) of the Redemptorist Order.

Father Paul entered consecrated life in 1954 and was ordained a priest by Cardinal Spellman in 1959.

Since that time he has been a college professor, pastor, mission preacher, directed over thirty cursillos, eight Marriage Encounters,

and many retreats for priests and sisters.

Father Paul comes to us from St. Ann’s Parish in Brentwood, N.Y. and we are delighted to have him with us! Welcome Father Paul Bryan

and we look forward to Novena 91!

The 91st Annual St. Ann Novena opens today at 4:30 PM at St. Ann’s.

Sunday, July 18th

The 8:30 and 11:00 are Novena Masses.

NO afternoon or evening Novena Services on Sunday. No confessions on Sundays.

Monday, July 19th

Novena Masses at 8:30 AM and 7:30 PM (SA).

Confessions follow Novena Masses.

Offices are open from 10 to Noon 

Tuesday, July 20th

Novena Masses at 8:30 AM and 7:30 PM (SA).

Confessions follow Novena Masses.

Perpetual Novena to St. Ann at 7:30 AM Mass (HF).

Confessions will be heard at 8AM and 4PM (SA)

The Relic of Good St. Ann will be venerated and applied after both Novena Masses.

The Sacrament of the Sick will be celebrated after the 4:30 PM Mass.

Sunday, July 25th

1st Annual St. Ann Novena continues today at the 8:30 AM and 11:00 AM Masses (SA).

The blessing of infants and their families will follow the 11AM Mass.

The blessing and veneration of the Relic of Good St. Ann will follow both Novena Masses.
Monday, July 26th Feast day - Memorial of Sts. Joachim and Anne, parents of Mary

God of our fathers, you gave Saints Joachim and Ann the privilege of being the parents of Mary, the mother of your incarnate Son. May their prayers help us to attain the salvation you have promised to your people. Grant this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.

 

PRAYER TO SAINT ANN & SAINT JOACHIM

Grandparents' Prayer Good Saint Ann and Saint Joachim,
parents of Mary and grandparents to Jesus,
be with me and all grandparents
that we may be wise and loving,
may share our time and stories and sense of humor,
and may enjoy and not spoil too much the grandchildren
who are close to our hearts,
for they are the sign of God's life to us.

Jesus, Mary and Joseph,
be with our grandchildren and all other grandchildren
that they may love and respect their grandparents
and all older people,
may remember to call,
visit or write,
and grow in wisdom,
age and grace before God.
